The birth of True Deliverance Outreach Ministry originated in May of 1987, with Evangelist Ard conducting bible study in her home.
While doing the works of an evangelist, Evangelist Ard, in May of 1989, was awakened out of sleep by the Holy Ghost and was told that the projects would be her territory.
Three years later, the Lord steered Evangelist Ard and a team of 5 other adults to take evangelism to the streets. She and her team began door-to-door evangelism at Camille Village Public Housing. While there, they began another home bible study. The bible study expanded and was temporarily relocated to a local recreation center.
After months of street ministry, the Lord gave Evangelist Ard a name for the evangelistic team. Thus, True Deliverance Outreach Mission was born.
In October of 1992, the spirit of the Lord prompted Evangelist Ard and the mission team to purchase a 15 passenger van, which would enable the transportation of the saints and heavy equipment.
During this outreach, the Lord continued to deal with Evangelist Ard—this time—about a ministry; an upcoming church would be eventually birthed out of the mission! After much prayer, fasting, and many confirmations, Evangelist Ard was encouraged by her pastor to get a building.
On March 14,1993, services began in a store-front building located at 942 Pass Road, Gulfport, MS. The following were in attendance:
Evangelist Ard and her three sons
Sis. Angeline Ball
Sis. Yvonne Benjamin and her daughter
Sis. Debbie Daniel and her 4 children
Sis. Sallie Williams and her son.
All are currently members, with the exceptions of Mother Daniel and Sis. Sallie Williams, who are deceased.
The mission continued with services being held on Sundays and Wednesdays under Co-Pastor Ard. Truly the Lord was in the midst of them! After two years, in 1995, Co-Pastor Ard was released by the Lord to become the pastor of True Deliverance Outreach Mission!
In December of 1999, True Deliverance Outreach Mission
transitioned to an outreach ministry— called to bring deliverance to the total man!
For eight years, True Deliverance Outreach Ministry (TDOM) remained at the 942 Pass Road location, until the Lord again instructed Pastor Ard to get a box because TDOM was moving!
In March of 2001, TDOM purchased its child development center—the present edifice from which we are conducting our church services! Four years later, in March of 2005, TDOM burned its mortgage! Currently, through much prayer, perseverance, sweat and tears, TDOM has over 200 members.

I am a believer of Jesus Christ.
I am redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, and lived in the Earth, without sin.
I believe he died on the cross, paying the penalty for my sin.
He was resurrected on the third day,
And now sits on the right hand of God the Father,
Making intercession for me.
I believe in the Holy Bible.
I believe it is the infallible Word of God,
written by men under inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
It provides a lamp for my feet and a light to my path.
I believe that it provides the guidelines for my daily living,
It presents the glorious Gospel of Christ.
It delivers God’s Words to man. It is a living document that contains truth relevant to all times, And illustrates God’s love for me and his will for my life.
I am the righteousness of God.
I have been placed in right standing with Him.
I am who He says I am, a son of God,
Not because of what I have done,
But because of what He has done for me.
I am an overcomer, I will subdue, I will multiply, and
I will recover all that He has promised to me.
